Merry Christmas!

My last CrossFit workout before heading home to Syracuse for the holidays was on Wednesday night:

“Flight Simulator”

5, 10, 15, 20…50 double unders, then back to zero. Twenty-minute cap.

If you didn’t get up to the set number without stopping, you had to start over from zero. So if you were on 20 but the rope clipped your foot a 19, you had to start that set over. I got stuck on 35. I got as many as 32 but there were a lot of reps in the teens and below. Gah! I must have done about 500 jumps total. My calves are STILL sore.

Despite the soreness, I went running for about a half hour today. I was starting to feel pretty disgusting from not working out and eating tons of cookies at my mom’s.

Tomorrow, I hope to make it to the local CrossFit affiliate for a WOD. For now, though, I am going to continue enjoying Christmas with my family. We are having turkey breast, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and sweet potato casserole for dinner. Then pumpkin pie for dessert. Yum!
