Detox WOD
Last night was the CrossFit Queens holiday party. It was held at a bar down the street from the gym, and catered by Butcher Bar, a new barbecue joint that sells only locally sourced, organic, grass-fed/free-range meat. I ate way too much and drank far too many two-for-one glasses of red wine, but I had a fabulous time!
Aside from my hangover, this morning I was down on myself for eating and drinking to such excess. So, I went to open gym at noon and did this workout to try to flush away that disgusting feeling. I’m doing so much better now—hangover is gone, now just a little tired. Here’s what I did:
Warmup:
- Jump rope and stretching, about 5 minutes
20-minute AMRAP:
- 250m row
- Unbroken double-unders
Strength:
- Ring dips
- Muscle-up progression drills
